Raw Pyrolusite Mineral Specimen

Pyrolusite is a mineral consisting essentially of manganese dioxide. 

According to Monday.org- “Named in 1827 from the Greek for "fire" and "to wash," because it was used to remove brown and green tints in the making of glass.”

Metaphysically, it’s known for its spiritually transformative properties and has a very grounding energy similar to hematite. Pyrolusite is said to help repell harmful or negative energy and can help clear the mind during meditation.
